1. Who are running the foundation?

We have board of directors who are responsible for each project. A project directors are responsible for successful and smooth running of the project. For example, mobile library project is run by Dr. Thant Thaw Kaung as project director and Vocation Training School project is run by Zwe Nanda as a project director. Decision are always made in democratic practices at our board meetings.

2. Who is responsible for accountability of financial usage?

DKKF give high priority on using of funds in most productive ways. Decisions are made at the board meeting on where the funds will be used. Effective implementations are carried out by the team led by each project director. DKKF give full transparency on usage of funding. One can see our financial report on the web anytime and enquiries can be made at anytime should there is any doubts. At the end of financial year, an official external auditing firm will audit all the financial expenses and incomes. Should there be any enquiries or concerns, project directors have to answer every things.

3. How will donor know where their donation are used?

Since we keep all the financial report open to the public and also available online, one can easily see and check where the funds are used. Details of the funds usage can be reported by providing all the supporting documents such as vouchers and official bills.

4. How can we donate to your foundation?

DKKF has both US$ and Kyat account at Myanma Foreign Trade Bank and hence wire transfer can easily be done. Apart from fund donation, we are accepting in kind donation such as computers, mobile vehicles and etc.

5. Can I volunteer at your foundation?

Depending on the needs and qualification of the volunteers, we will be accepting the volunteers case by case basis.
